EMBOLDEN WOMEN’S RETREAT AGREEMENT
 

Event: Embolden Women’s Retreat 2026

OVERVIEW

This retreat is a curated, invitation-based gathering designed for Christian women (18+) seeking intentional time with God, spiritual renewal, rest, and community.

This is not an open-registration event. Each attendee is personally reviewed, prayerfully considered, and officially invited before being extended the opportunity to register.

Spaces are intentionally limited and held in advance for those specifically invited into this experience.
 

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • 3 nights and 4 days of lodging

  • Welcome dinner, daily breakfasts and lunches, beverages and snacks (dietary needs accommodated where possible)

  • Two dinners out at a restaurant are not included in the registration cost.

  • Private and shared accommodations

  • Teaching sessions, worship, and guided ministry

  • One optional group outing (not included in retreat cost)
     

REGISTRATION & INVITATION PROCESS

Attendance follows a two-step process:

  1. Application Submission – does not guarantee acceptance

  2. Official Invitation + Registration – extended only to approved applicants

A space is only considered fully reserved once:

  • You have received an official invitation, and

  • Registration is completed, including deposit payment

Each space is held specifically for you within a limited group.
 

PAYMENT TERMS

A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to secure a reserved space.

Payment options may include full payment or installment plans, as made available at registration.

All installment plans must be paid in full by the final payment deadline provided at registration.

Failure to complete scheduled payments may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund of amounts previously paid.

The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Because this retreat is a curated and limited gathering, each space is intentionally reserved and prepared in advance.
 

If you are unable to attend, the following applies:
 

BEFORE AUGUST 1, 2026

You may receive a refund of payments made, minus the $200 non-refundable deposit.
 

AFTER AUGUST 1, 2026

All payments are non-refundable, with no exceptions.

The deposit is always non-refundable and secures your held invitation.
 

If a cancellation occurs after August 1, 2026, we are generally unable to offer refunds due to the proximity of the retreat and commitments already made on your behalf. However, in the event that we are able to fill your reserved space from the waitlist, we may—at our discretion—issue a partial refund based on the recovered funds.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Embolden Co. at mariel@emboldenco.org.

 

TRANSFERS

In select cases, and at the sole discretion of the organizer, you may request to transfer your reserved space to another approved applicant from the waitlist.

Transfers are:

  • Not guaranteed

  • Only approved if your space can be filled

  • Must be completed prior to the retreat start date

  • Approved transfers are solely between the original attendee and the replacement attendee. Embolden Co. is not responsible for financial arrangements between parties.
     

 

PAYMENT PLAN POLICY

To make the Embolden Retreat more accessible, we offer payment plan options for select registrations. By enrolling in a payment plan, you agree to the following terms:
 

Total Cost

Payment plans for our shared room accommodations total $1,020, paid in equal monthly installments of $340.
 

Scheduled Payments

The full retreat balance will be divided into equal payments of $340. Payments will be automatically charged to the payment method provided at registration.
 

3-Month Payment Plan (Available before August 1, 2026)
  • Payment 1: $340 (due at registration and includes $200 nonrefundable deposit)

  • Payment 2: $340

  • Payment 3: $340
     

All retreat balances must be paid in full by September 15, 2026.
 

Payment Plan Availability

Payment plans are only available until August 1, 2026. After this date, payment plan options will be limited to the 2-month plan or may no longer be offered, depending on retreat capacity.
 

Payment Responsibility

By enrolling in a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled payments as part of your commitment to the full retreat balance, regardless of participation.
 

Grace Period & Late Payments

If you anticipate difficulty making a scheduled payment, please contact Mariel or the retreat team as soon as possible. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and we will do our best to work with you on a payment arrangement when possible. All retreat balances must be paid in full by the final payment deadline unless otherwise approved by the retreat team.
 

Final Payment Deadline

All retreat balances must be paid in full no later than September 15, 2026. Failure to complete payment by this date may result in cancellation of your registration and forfeiture of payments already made.
 

Cancellations

Payment plans remain subject to the Embolden Retreat Cancellation Policy.

  • Before August 1, 2026: Refunds may be issued for payments made, minus the $200 non-refundable deposit.

  • After August 1, 2026: All payments are non-refundable, with no exceptions.

    All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Embolden Co. at mariel@emboldenco.org.

     

Agreement

By selecting a payment plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Payment Plan Terms in addition to the full Retreat Policy.

Retreat-Only Registration Policy (Lodging Not Included)
 

Purpose

The Deeper Waters Retreat is intentionally designed as an immersive, on-site experience. Retreat-only registration (without overnight accommodations) is not a standard registration option and is offered only on a limited, case-by-case basis.

Eligibility

Retreat-only registration may be approved at the sole discretion of Embolden Co. for individuals with circumstances such as:

  • Medical or health-related needs

  • Accessibility or mobility accommodations

  • Caregiving or family responsibilities

  • Other extenuating circumstances that make staying overnight at the retreat house impractical

Approval is granted on an individual basis and is not guaranteed.
 

Retreat-Only Registration Includes

Approved participants will receive:

  • Full access to all retreat sessions and programming

  • Worship, teachings, and prophetic activations

  • Retreat materials and welcome gifts

  • All meals, snacks, coffee, and beverages provided during retreat hours
     

Participant Responsibilities

Participants registering under this option are responsible for:

  • Securing and paying for their own lodging

  • Arranging their own transportation to and from the retreat house each day

  • Arriving on time for scheduled sessions and activities
     

Room Upgrade Option

If on-site accommodations become available prior to the retreat, approved retreat-only participants may request to upgrade to an available room by paying the applicable difference in registration cost.

Room availability is limited and upgrades are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Upgrades are not guaranteed.
 

Additional Terms

  • Retreat-only registration is an exception and should not be considered a standard lodging alternative.

  • Approval for one retreat does not guarantee eligibility for future retreats.

  • Embolden Co. reserves the right to approve or deny retreat-only registration requests at its sole discretion.

  • All other retreat policies, payment schedules, cancellation policies, and participant agreements remain in effect unless otherwise stated in writing by Embolden Co.

 

WAITLIST & HELD SPACES

Because this is a curated gathering with limited capacity, any canceled space may be offered to an approved applicant from our waitlist.

For this reason, all spaces are considered held and intentionally assigned, and we are unable to make exceptions outside of the stated policy.
 

ORGANIZER CANCELLATION

In the unlikely event that Embolden Co. must cancel the retreat, all retreat payments will be fully refunded.

We are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred, including but not limited to:

  • Airfare

  • Transportation

  • Lodging outside retreat accommodations

  • Travel insurance
     

FORCE MAJEURE

Organizer shall not be held liable for delay or cancellation due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters, severe weather, illness outbreaks, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.

In such cases, the retreat may be rescheduled, modified, or canceled. Refunds or credits will be issued where feasible based on funds received by Embolden Co.
 

A NOTE ON THIS INVITATION & POLICY

This retreat is a curated spiritual gathering, not an open enrollment event.

Each space is prayerfully considered, held in advance, and prepared with care for the woman who will step into it.

Because of this, last-minute cancellations can impact both the flow of the retreat and the spaces that were thoughtfully reserved.

This policy simply exists to honor the women who say yes, steward what is held in advance, and protect the peace and integrity of our time together.
 

MEDIA CONSENT

By attending, you grant permission for photos and video to be taken and used for promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing prior to the retreat.
 

HEALTH & PARTICIPATION

By registering, you acknowledge that you are physically able to participate in retreat activities, including walking and optional excursions.

You agree to communicate any relevant health concerns or dietary needs in advance.
 

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

You are responsible for:

  • Your travel arrangements and documentation

  • Your personal belongings

  • Purchasing travel insurance (recommended)

  • Your conduct during the retreat
     

COMMUNITY EXPECTATIONS

This is a Christ-centered, sacred environment.

All attendees agree to:

  • Honor confidentiality

  • Respect others

  • Participate in a spirit of unity and care

  • Contribute to a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere
     

AGREEMENT

By completing registration, you acknowledge and agree to:
 

  • All terms outlined in this agreement

  • Participation in a respectful, Christ-centered environment

  • Allowing reasonable adjustments to the schedule or accommodations if needed
     

We are expectant for all God will do in this time together.
